The Farmers Market at Queen’s

Join us every Wednesday starting Wednesday, September 27from 10:00am-4:00pm. Weather permitting, we will be outside on the corner of Union and University.

The market,  now it its 9th year of operation, provides students with easy access to local vendors and locally produced food. Queen’s Hospitality Services is a proud founding member of this campus community program.

Main Street Market

Main Street Market is a decentralized urban farm. We sell what we grow and forage, harvesting fresh in downtown Kingston. We harvest, come to market and deliver by bicycle.

We seek to improve the connection between eaters and the earth. We do that in part by building market for local food training and employing in the Kingston ag scene using organic, permaculture, low-fi, human-powered, traditional growing / storing / transporting methods sharing agricultural anecdotes and food knowledge.

We specialize in Beets, shiitake mushrooms, sunchokes, and a year-round Market CSA veggie basket pickup. Our main season shares run weekly May until October. Winter shares run monthly Nov-April.
