COVID-19 Information

COVID-19 Information

At this time, Queen’s University is continuing its suspension of mandatory masking across campus. We continue to strongly encourage all Queen’s students, staff, and faculty to stay up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters and to follow the Queen’s COVID-19 Guidelines and the current provincial Isolation Protocols.

Dining with Covid-19

If you are isolating due to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, you will be required to order your meals for pickup. Be sure to exchange your carabiner or used GOOD TO GO container to save the $0.75 single-use fee upon pick-up.

If you have a food allergy or other dietary needs, the safest menu options are available from a dining hall using the “Online Meal Order”. Please access ordering through the Student Residence and Dining Portal under “Meal Service Assistance” à “Covid-19 Related.”

It is important that students completing the online order form complete their Allergy/Dietary Need Intake Form accessible through the Student Residence & Dining Portal, and to look for true balance menu items online before ordering.

We encourage all students with allergies/other dietary needs to book an appointment with the Registered Dietitian or call 613-533-2953.

Retail orders can be ordered ahead for pick up by using the Transact Mobile App, however available menus for allergies and special diets may be limited.

Help Keep Campus Safe

Continue to be mindful of the well-being of your fellow students, staff and faulty by:

  • Staying home if you feel sick
  • Remain home until your symptoms have been improving for at least 24 hours
  • Cough and sneeze into the bend of your arm, not into your hand
  • Wear a mask until you are symptom free and avoid non-essential activities
  • Maintain physical distance
  • Practice proper and regular hand sanitization
  • Avoid touching your nose, mouth, or eyes with your hands
  • Get your COVID-19 boosters, and influenza vaccine – available on campus through Student Wellness Services
  • Eat healthy foods and stay physically active to keep your immune system strong
