Report a Missing Card

WHAT DO I DO IF MY CARD IS STOLEN?

If your Queen’s ID card is stolen, report it to Queen’s Hospitality Services as soon as possible. In addition, you should report the theft to Queen’s Campus Security (36733).

WHAT DO I DO IF I DON’T HAVE MY STUDENT CARD?

  • If you have already sent in a photo, visit your Residence Front Desk to get your card.
  • If you have not submitted a photo, you will need to do so immediately. You will require a temporary meal card for access to your meal plan. 
    • Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm: you can visit the Hospitality Office, located in Victoria Hall Room E022, for a temporary meal card to be issued.
    • Evenings and Weekends: you can visit Location 21 in David C. Smith building to pick up single use meal cards. The cashier will provide these for you and information on next steps.  

Please note: you are the sole person responsible for the safekeeping of your Queen’s ID card. Unless you report your card as stolen, Queen’s Hospitality Services will not be able to protect your Flex $. Therefore, unless properly reported, we cannot provide refunds for losses on cards that have been lost/stolen.

HOW DO I EAT IF I DON’T HAVE MY STUDENT CARD?

Once you have reported your lost/stolen card, your Flex $ will be “locked”. You will need to obtain a temporary meal card from the Hospitality Services Office to continue to access your meal plan. See above question for details on temporary cards.

WHAT DO I DO ONCE I FIND OR REPLACE MY CARD?

Once you obtain a replacement card from the Registrar’s Office (Gordon Hall), we are automatically notified and your new card will be activated by the next business day. Once your new card has been activated, your old card will no longer be active and cannot be used.
