Report a Missing Card
WHAT DO I DO IF MY CARD IS STOLEN?
If your Queen’s ID card is stolen, report it to Queen’s Hospitality Services as soon as possible. In addition, you should report the theft to Queen’s Campus Security (36733).
WHERE DO I REPORT MY LOST CARD?
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm: Queen’s Hospitality Services Office, E022, Victoria Hall
Monday – Friday and on weekends: Location 21, David C. Smith House. You will not be issued a temporary card from Location 21, they can only cancel your lost card. You will need to stop into the main Hospitality Services office during open hours to issue a temporary card.
Please note: you are the sole person responsible for the safekeeping of your Queen’s ID card. Unless you report your card as stolen, Queen’s Hospitality Services will not be able to protect your Flex $. Therefore, unless properly reported, we cannot provide refunds for losses on cards that have been lost/stolen.
HOW DO I EAT IF MY CARD HAS BEEN LOST OR STOLEN?
Once you have reported your lost/stolen card, your Flex $ will be “locked”. You will however, be able to continue to access meals in the dining halls. You will be asked to provide your student number and photo ID to enter the dining halls.
WHAT DO I DO ONCE I FIND OR REPLACE MY CARD?
Once you obtain a replacement card from the Registrar’s Office (Gordon Hall), we are automatically notified and your new card will be activated by the next business day. Once your new card has been activated, your old card will no longer be active and cannot be used.
